There are wines, and then there is “Bollicine di seta”.
A sparkling wine, refermented in the bottle, with which it is good to start any story. Whether it’s love, or a prank or an improvised one with friends, “Bollicine di seta” will certainly leave its mark.
Sensory Notes
Visual aspect:
Bollicine di seta is a veiled straw yellow wine from the Euganean Hills. With a smaller and more persistent bubble, which creates a light and precious foam like silk. An intact wine, little treated and not clarified.
Aroma:
From the complexity of its aroma, notes of acacia honey and mountain herbs are perceived, given by the evolution of the scents present in the grapes which evolving lead to the pleasantness of the entire aromatic heritage.
Taste:
The value of Bollicine di seta lies in its particular flavor with fruity notes of apple, peach and floral wisteria.
Fresh and dry, with an elegant mineral component, it accompanies all types of aperitifs and buffets of all kinds.
Vinification:
Coming from the selection of our best 100% single-variety glera grapes, hand-picked and subjected to soft pressing. Bollicine di seta is a wine “with the bottom”, with a particular aromatic complexity that enhances the terroir. After a first fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature (18 ° C), it then has a period of maturation on the fine lees of 4-5 months where it reaches the right complexity. In spring, fresh must is added, so as to allow a slow natural refermentation in the bottle. Over time the yeasts settle in the bottom of the bottle, hence the term Colfondo.
The cap is a crown, as it preserves much more wine and prevents oxidation.
