“Tra i Gelsi”
A rich and powerful Merlot.

To complete the file rouge that began with “Bollicine di seta”, we have decided to give voice to our interpretation of Merlot as well. A tannin red, with a black cherry flavor.
Tra i Gelsi is a dream that, through the blends of Merlot grapes and two “resistant” PIWI grapes (Khorus and Kanthus), has become reality. It is a wine with good body and harmony that embodies the different peculiarities of the territory in the Euganean Hills, concentrating them in its essence.
VINIFICATION:
The harvest is manual, in crates. The grapes are destemmed in the cellar, then sent to a steel tank for fermentation in red, at a temperature of 27-28 ° C, for about 10-15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place immediately after alcoholic fermentation. Subsequently the maturation takes place in steel, for a period of 6-8 months and the subsequent refinement in the bottle for a period of not less than 3 months.
SENSORY NOTES:
Our Merlot has a purplish and magenta color. On the palate the depth of the black cherry scent is perceived and it is soft, well balanced with a persistent finish. On the olfactory level the notes of wild berries, cherry and black cherry are evident, giving the wine a distinct character.
